Abstract

Introduction: osteopetrosis groups a group of bone diseases characterized by a considerable increase in bone density. Also known as marble or Albers-Schönberg disease.

Case presentation: a case of a 55-year-old woman, white skin color, female, with a family pathological history of hypertension and osteopetrosis is presented. Radiological studies were positive and confirmed the diagnosis of marbled osteopetrosis in the benign form.

Discussion: X-rays are performed, observing multiple bone lesions, guidelines for functional integrative treatments were applied, as well as the use of M.N.T.

Conclusions: At the conclusion of both phases, the patient has decreased pain, his psychological state has improved, he has gained independence, and therefore his quality of life.
