A descriptive study was made to characterize behavior of neurological disabilities in lower than 20 year-old, in “13 de Marzo” polyclinic from April to June 2007. Populations were all patients dispensarized in family health records from Work Basic Group No 2; sample was selected by non probabilistic intentional sampling, including 53 patients. There were studied age, sex, inclusion to learning system, and medical, social, and government support, if received. Descriptive statistical measures were used. Prevailed epilepsy, encephalopathy and psychomotor delay. The most affected age was from 5 to 14 years, there was no difference according to sex. In the school age group prevailed the children included in normal education. There were identified benefits and difficulties in the follow-up of these patients. It was concluded that although prevalence of neurological disabilities in Work Basic Group No 2 was low, familiar, emotional, economical, and social repercussion in detected entities must be taken into account to devise strategies for the development of prevention and rehabilitation actions.
