Abstract

Celia Sanchez Manduley Clinical Surgical Hospital of Manzanillo has a Service of Pathological Anatomy where the doctors belonging to this service perform biopsies, cytologies and necropsies to determine the different afections presented by the patients. The register of the information of patients, exams and results are developed manually. These registers might be deteriorated or lost, exposed to human mistakes in the register of information and they do not permit to obtain inmediately the data of interest. It is proposed a tool for the automation of control of the information in the Pathological Anatomy Service, through a management system of data bases for the efficiency in registers and consultation of the information and for the diminishment of human mistakes. The software allows: to optimize the performance of the personnel belonging to the Pathological Anatomy Service in the hospital.
