Cervicovaginal infections are highly prevalent gynecological conditions caused by alterations in the vaginal microbiota, affecting 20 % of women of reproductive age and representing a frequent reason for medical consultation. With the aim of creating an educational multimedia platform on gynecological infections for first- and second-year residents specializing in this field, a technological development research project was conducted at the Fe del Valle Ramos Hospital in Manzanillo, Cuba, from 2021 to 2024. Software was developed using Mediator 9.0 and Adobe Photoshop 8, and evaluated by 46 residents through a structured survey with four dimensions and a Likert scale. The platform was structured into five sections: General Information, Risk Factors, Cervicitis, Vulvovaginitis, and Image Gallery. 95.7 % of respondents rated the scientific rigor of the content as very adequate, 93.5 % rated the image-objective relationship as very good, 93.5 % rated its educational value as very good, and 97.8 % rated its contribution to their training on the topic as very good. The platform proved to be a valid and effective tool for continuing medical education, as it achieved a high level of acceptance among residents in all dimensions evaluated.
