Abstract

Glicosarcoma is a variation of multiform glioblastoma. It is a tumor characterized by a biphasic pattern with a glial component of high level and a mesenchimatous one. The monoclonal theory is mostly accepted nowadays, showing that both components are created from the main cell. The clinic- epidemiologic and prognosis manifestations are similar to the multiform glioblastoma. The intraventricular gliosarcoma is a weird entity that has been reported in five cases in the consulted bibliography. It was presented a 29 –year- old female patient with the histologic diagnosis of this pathology. We discussed the case and checked the literature.
